Then, while making another move toward the basket, his right leg appears to just give out. Halliburton falls down. He looks hurt. The thunder coming up with the ball and a bucket on the other end. While Halliburton, who had been playing through a strained right calf, pounded the court in pain and emotion. He was helped off and never returned. His Pacers didn't back down though, still taking the lead into the half. The pass. Williams, open three. But in the third quarter, the thunder would take control. Backed by shooting from the league's best young duo, Jalen Williams. Seven on the 24, three-pointer SGA. Puts it in! And league MVP, Shea Gilgis Alexander, whose 29-point performance earned him another award. Finals MVP, an honor SGA shared with his partner. Jalen Williams is a once-in-a-lifetime player. He's just as much my MVP as it is his. The team that entered the season with the least experience and the youngest roster now stands at the top of the NBA.
