In one post, Newsom writes, Your favorite governor, Gavin Christopher Newsom, offered the best, most amazing deal in history. Stop rigging Texas maps and California won't make ours more beautiful. Sadly, but no surprise, Donald was too weak to even write me back. No deal and no deal. Perfect, beautiful maps that will end his presidency. Soon he will not be 47. Make the maps great again. We know that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I'd say these posts missed the mark. Not quite funny enough for me. One interesting point here is that California is already gerrymandered, and yet Trump won 40% of the vote in November. It's not as bad, not as left-wing as they want it to be. But I got to tell you, what's so interesting about Gavin Newsom is that he's the first one to say, oh, this gerrymandering is so evil, yet he himself is pushing for gerrymandering in his own state. Look, I think this is going to end up in the courts at the end of the day, whether it's the Texas redistricting, whether it's the California redistricting. But his efforts in trying to make it funny, you know, he can never—I mean, if you want to go for it between Trump or Gavin Newsom, my bets are on Trump on the funny factor, to say the least. Democrats were horrified enough about redistricting in Texas to flee the state, but not horrified enough not to do it in California. What do you think, Foldy? Letting Gavin Newsom lecture about gerrymandering is like letting Jeffrey Epstein say your girlfriend is too young for you. I mean, it's sickening. And Gavin Newsom is taking a quick break from auditioning to be the next Patrick Bateman in the American Psycho remake to try and gerrymander. He's not funny. I actually think maybe he's doing this to make Stephen Colbert look funny. And if so, then it worked. And I think this is— Did you write all these jokes? No, this is—I'm not even trying to be funny. This is ridiculous. That's good. No, it's—Gavin Newsom is—he looks like a psychopathic movie villain. He always has. And I think this is actually a serious risk for him for running for president in 2028. What he's doing, by the way, is even less popular than he is, OK? Gavin Newsom's gerrymandering efforts would cost taxpayers in California millions of dollars. By the way, they have not fixed one home from the California wildfires. I think you should focus on that. If this ballot measure fails, by the way, forget about him running for president. I agree that those fires are something that need to be fixed. Those fires are probably the biggest issue California has gotten into. But the Democrats should come back to vote on the priorities. Newsom is making his push to redraw maps despite the will of his constituents. A poll by Politico shows by nearly a 2-to-1 margin, 64% of California voters prefer keeping an independent line-drawing panel to determine the state's House seats, while just 36% of respondents back returning congressional redistricting authority to state lawmakers. So it looks like the people of California do not support Newsom's move. He's doing it against the will of the people. What do you think, Chris? Well, and also, the commission that was set up to redistrict in a bipartisan way was set up by Republican governor at the time, Arnold Schwarzenegger. And the Democrats agreed to it. And now he's going to blow that up because he's trying to steal seats. And look, California already gerrymandered the hell out of the state. Illinois already gerrymandered the hell out of the state. Maryland, New Jersey, New York, they've gerrymandered the hell out of all these Democrat states. They did it quite quietly and without any fanfare. And The New York Times closed their eyes to it. And The 60 Minutes and The Washington Post closed their eyes to it. It's already been done. In Maryland, there's one Republican seat left. And now there are Democrats there that are promising to erase that single seat in Maryland. Jason, none of us think these posts are funny. Do you think they're funny? I thought it was funny.
