Newly released cell phone video and 911 call recordings have shed more light on a road rage incident involving Ohio Congressman Max Miller and Dr. Farris Hamdan. The video, recorded by Hamdan, shows him shouting homophobic and anti-Semitic slurs at Miller, and making threats against him and his family. Police documents, including bodycam footage and Tesla vehicle footage, were released following a public records request.

Hamdan has been indicted on charges including ethnic intimidation, tampering with evidence, aggravated menacing, and menacing. His attorney claims the video only shows a heated political disagreement and disputes Miller's account of the incident, alleging Miller is using the situation for political gain. Prosecutors and police state that Hamdan veered into Miller's lane, while Hamdan's attorney asserts the opposite.

The newly released cell phone video shot by Hamdan himself shows him yelling at the congressman and using homophobic and anti-semitic slurs. Cleveland.com filed a freedom of information request to release the troubled documents, which also include the 9-1-1 call, police interview with Miller, the police report, search warrants and dozens of videos, including Tesla footage of Hamdan getting into the company vehicle prior to the incident. The 9-1-1 dispatcher acknowledging in the report that she could hear honking and commotion and recalls Miller stating that Hamdan was making threats towards his family and calling him a quote dirty Jew. Miller later recounted the incident to police in this video just released. I'm trying to ignore him and all of a sudden he goes this with his vehicle a little bit and it jars me and it does I'm not gonna lie I got a little scared and he put his cell phone towards the window and was a Palestinian flag and I said okay well now I'm figuring this out pretty quick so the windows are down and he's just screaming at me at the top of his lungs saying that he wants to kill me and he knows who I am and he knows where I live. Hamdan has been indicted on one count of ethnic intimidation, one count of tampering with evidence, one count of aggravated menacing and one count of menacing. But Hamdan's attorney paints an entirely different picture telling Scripps News the video simply shows Hamdan recognizing the congressman and having a passionate exchange disagreeing with his policies. Attorney Isa El Khatib told us Hamdan wishes he wasn't so harsh and passionate but he's not sorry for not liking or disagreeing with Miller. He says Miller's allegations are false saying he is quote proven to be a liar and he is weaponizing the system for political points. And in the documents we've obtained Andrew prosecutors and police say that Hamdan veered into Miller's lane while he was driving on the highway. His attorney told me it's the opposite.
