Lanning's aggressive batting helped the Melbourne Stars secure a commanding 111-run win over the Sydney Sixers. The innings has been described as one of the greatest in WBBL history.

So you had to go running after that and still got it through the field for four. I chased the wide one as I'm not supposed to do and I thought I'd stuffed it up and she was going to get a dot but when it's your day then it works out alright. The former Aussie skipper with her highest ever T20 score and one of the greatest innings in WBBL history, Melbourne Stars belting the Sydney Sixers by 111 runs.
