Bradley Wilkinson, aged 40, has accepted full responsibility for the death of 27-year-old Rhys Harding during a road rage incident in Darlinghurst, New South Wales. Security footage presented in court showed Wilkinson dragging Harding with his vehicle before running him over, resulting in Harding's death in June of the previous year.

Wilkinson, who was accompanied by his teenage son at the time, expressed remorse in court, stating he never intended to harm Harding. The sentencing has been postponed to allow Judge Conlon more time to review the evidence and testimony. Wilkinson is not expected to appear in person again, and his legal team indicated no plans to appeal the forthcoming sentence.

It really paints a picture that Rhys had no, he was cornered. At one stage Mr Wilkinson's going to get out and see his family, it's not the case the other way around is it? Unable to look their son's killer in the eye as he sobbed through a statement to them saying no matter what I say or do it won't bring him back, no parent should bury their kid, I never wanted to hurt your son, I hope you don't carry hate because I hate myself for what I've done to you. I'm truly sorry Mr and Mrs Harding, I'll live with it every day. I'm not accepting it, I don't even want to forgive anybody, forgive him for it. He took our son away, no forgiveness there. After a four hour hearing a sentencing was postponed to allow Judge Conlon more time to consider the evidence and new testimony that were today presented before the court.
