Authorities tracked the stolen money to a nearby trailer home, where they established a perimeter and Williams surrendered. After his arrest, Williams told police he committed the robbery due to financial hardship and the threat of eviction.

Once in custody, he told police he robbed the bank because he was broke and was about to be evicted.
