We had obviously a manager, Ange Postacoglu, who delivered a European trophy. Chelsea will face the Wanderers with Spurs taking on Sydney FC before the English giants face off in the always-heated London derby, 17,000km from home. People say that it's pre-season friendly, but that fixture is not friendly. And that's why it's extra special for the fans to see this one. They're always fighting the London derby. Hopefully they're going to bring the fire here in Australia. The local talent can test themselves against the benchmark of football. I had the chance to play them 12 or 13 years ago, friendly as well, against Germany 4, yeah, you remember that. But yeah, it was a great time. I think it's great for both teams that we're able to play a pre-season game and not a post-season game that doesn't mean too much. The event is back after a four-year break, with all fixtures split between Allianz and Acor Stadium. Now, while there won't be any black caps for them down under, they'll still receive a royal reception with tickets expected to sell out. The A-League All-Stars face Chelsea's women, playing for the first time ever in Australia, though not for Matildas, Sam Kerr and Ellie Carpenter.
