Fans of music legends can bid on iconic memorabilia this week, including John Lennon’s glasses, Liam Gallagher’s damaged Oasis guitar and Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” fedora.

A selection of rare music memorabilia is being offered at auction in London, featuring items associated with renowned artists such as John Lennon, Michael Jackson, and Noel Gallagher. Among the highlights is Noel Gallagher's Cherry Red Gibson guitar, famously damaged during the breakup of Oasis and later repaired, with an estimated value of $330,000.

Other notable pieces include a pair of John Lennon's glasses, worn during a notable incident at the Troubadour club in Los Angeles, estimated at around $200,000. Also up for auction is one of three hats made for Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal' video, marked as number one and valued between $50,000 and $100,000.

One of the most unique items I think we have is Noel Gallagher's guitar, his Cherry Red Gibson, which, as the story goes, is the guitar that broke up Oasis. So back in 2009 in Paris, Liam was swinging it around in rage backstage and that's when they called it quits. So it got damaged, but in 2011 Noel actually took it to Eleuthia to get repaired and subsequently played it with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and the estimate on that is about $330,000. The story behind the John Lennon glasses is that he wore them to the Troubadour in Los Angeles, had a rather rowdy heckling session and got kicked out and there's photographs of him entering the club with the glasses and leaving the club without the glasses. The estimate on those is around about $200,000. If you think of Michael Jackson, you probably think of the Smooth Criminal video with him doing that lean, that classic stunt. We have one of the three hats that were made for that shoot. It's marked number one inside and has a little feather in it that was originally part of the design and was subsequently cut from the shoot, but it's absolutely beautiful. You see it, you think Michael Jackson, and the estimate on that one is about $50,000 to $100,000.
