Another commonality, this flag, from the popular Japanese manga series One Piece. It's become a symbol of global youth resistance and ubiquitous at Gen Z rallies across the globe. Some believe it really took off in Nepal in September when it was pictured against the backdrop of a burning government building. That Gen Z protest was triggered by a sudden social media ban and also toppled a government in power. But not before a violent crackdown by the state killed at least 75 people and left more than 2,000 injured, many of them young people.
