After morning heavy rain, showers and thunderstorms will develop and become more widespread again this afternoon. A few severe storms will be possible with the main threats being damaging winds and large hail, although an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The heaviest rain will fall Thursday night, finally tapering off Friday morning.
