The summit placed particular emphasis on the importance of achieving global peace through multilateralism and maintaining the international rules-based order, citing ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gaza, and Sudan as areas of concern.

Additionally, the EU and AU welcomed advancements in the Global Getaway initiative, a €150 billion program designed to support African countries. The initiative aims to foster economic growth and accelerate transitions in climate and digital sectors across the continent.

And we need to avoid the chaos, we need to uphold for the international order in Ukraine, in RDC, in Gaza, in Sudan, elsewhere. The two partners also welcomed the progress made in implementing the Global Getaway.
