In the Democratic Republic of Congo, a spokesperson for the army has been suspended after speaking about the conflict in eastern Congo when he implied that the Tutsi community is treacherous, language held in Rwanda in 1994 before the genocide. It cuts to the core of some of the deep tensions in eastern Congo, where the Tutsi community is often unfairly blamed for the M23 rebel conflict.
