Authorities are warned not to stay in war-damaged buildings in case they collapse. But tents offer little protection from the cold. Aid agencies say at least 13 people, including two babies, have died from hypothermia. I collect nylon, cardboard and plastic from the streets to keep them warm. They don't have proper covers. It's suffering. I'm gathering nylon from here and there to keep them warm from the cold. It's freezing, the humidity is high and water seeps in from everywhere. I don't know what to do. About 80% of buildings in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed. But Israel continues to restrict humanitarian aid to the territory, including tents and other essentials.
