The café, run by the daughters and cousin of founder Nelly Santamarina, has become a local favorite for its warm atmosphere and authentic Cuban-style cuisine, including a menu of 16 sandwiches.

The café's commitment to fostering in-person interaction has contributed to its popularity and success in the community. Tinta y Café recently received a Michelin mention, highlighting its standout menu items such as the Madurito and signature baguette sandwiches, further solidifying its reputation as a culinary destination in Miami.

And I knew that Miami Shores needed something like this. And when my mom found this location, we were like, yes. The community really needed it and loved it so much that this location in four short years has done so well because of the community. There's only one rule, and you'll spot it. No Wi-Fi, no laptops, just for that reason so you can come and enjoy the food and have a good time. This is called the Madurito sandwich. Carlos prepares this Madurito with sweet plantains, pork, contempalos, Swiss cheese, and more. It's one of 16 sandwiches on the menu. To the press. About a couple minutes there. Tinta is so impressive, it received a Michelin mention this year. So elegant and so different, and it's just the exquisiteness of every bite is amazing. Their self-titled signature baguette sandwich has prosciutto, pork, manchego cheese, roasted red peppers, and caramelized onions. That is a so stepped up, so chef-y sandwich, warm, warm bread, so fresh, and then also there's just the tenderness and the juiciness of the meat. The Calenya sandwich with turkey, prosciutto, manchego cheese, and more is another standout. Again, they're all so different, but each one is more stepped up than the other.
