Police have been going through nearly 100 reports they've received with information about the location of Desi Freeman since that million-dollar award was announced. A number of police search convoys headed out today. Officers approaching homes with their weapons drawn. They were jumping fences as they honed in on a number of properties near where Desi Freeman is accused of shooting dead two police officers 13 days ago now. They also headed deep into the mountains. Heavily armed officers standing guard as a forest management team cleared a path for them with a chainsaw. The police air wing also spent a bit of time focused in on the area around where Desi Freeman was living. It was hovering above the property for a short period this afternoon. Then, as the rain set in, a search team descended on the Port Punker airfield, officers inspecting sheds and hangars that exist alongside the airstrip there. Chris, tomorrow, this mammoth police operation will have been going for two weeks. Officers are keen to remind anyone who might be considering the potential of that million-dollar award.
