Student protestors will comply with all requirements of the FDNY and must ensure the encampment is inclusive and free from discriminatory or harassing language. As a result of this progress, the university intends to continue discussions for the next 48 hours. Yeah, you know, although I support the cause, I think as I had my high school graduation during COVID, it would be a shame that if I miss that and I miss this too because of the Palestinian encampments that are currently going on. So I think it's just for the Columbia University president and the CEO to take drastic action to ensure that the commencement ceremony goes properly and as planned. The campus here is still being prepared for commencement. Students tell me that the east side of the lawn is already set up. The west side is not. That's where the encampments are.
