a look at this. This morning, crews are still working to get this coach bus back on solid ground after it fell through the roof of a parking garage. Just incredible to see several workers are also waiting to get to their own vehicles which are below the bus. A story down. Our Jonathan Gordon is near that scene this morning with the very latest. Jonathan, what's it like there? Well, maybe some a breakthrough this morning while the bus is still here. We have seen for the first time some crews who have been in and out of the area taking a look at sort of what this damage looks like taking pictures of the bus itself as the crews start to work to not only establish the timeline for when they will be able to remove the bus from this parking lot. But in addition to that, try and figure out exactly how this partial collapse even happened in the first place. This was the scene yesterday and you can see the rear end of the bus partially through the pavement of the underground lot below with the front end of the bus several ft in the air. This collapse happened just after five o'clock yesterday. It's part of an office building parking lot complex. It's located at 1979 Marcus Avenue in North New Hyde Park and this all unfolded yesterday as temperatures reached triple digits, just close near triple digits. Amazingly and thankfully, nobody was heard. Their driver on the bus had to be taken off the bus because the driver was so high off the ground but was okay. Witnesses said they saw the bus was being driven around before they say that the road below did give way and we've been speaking with people who work on the other side of this parking lot who have been stopping by to take pictures. Many of them expressing concerns about what unfolded over there, worried about what it could mean for them over here. Well, my sister in law works in that building so they told her to stay home so I figured I would just take a picture and show her what's there. And so at this point still many questions including again what caused this collapse? That's really the big question here. And as the other big thing is all those cars that are still below people were not able to get to them yesterday. At what point will they be able to get to them today?
