Police in New South Wales are investigating multiple shootings, including two incidents at a family home in Bossley Park. Rare footage captured the attack from inside the hitmen's car, showing gunfire directed at a Commodore and a white Audi sedan involved in the incidents. The targeted family, none of whom are known to police, escaped injury, and authorities are working to determine why they were targeted.

A crashed and abandoned Audi, along with a firearm left behind, is being forensically examined as part of the investigation. Additional police activity was observed in Fairfield, but its connection to the Bossley Park shootings remains unclear. Two other shootings in Fairfield and Wetherill Park are also under investigation, with no arrests reported in any of the cases.

The same car first captured late Wednesday, a single shot, is fired from a white Audi sedan piercing a caravan outside a Bosley Park home, back again today at breakfast. The Commodore bearing the brunt as bullets fly through the living room. It's very frightening and very scary to know what's going on in our neighbourhood. Minutes later, a crashed Audi, abandoned nearby, the firearm left behind. We'll conduct a forensic examination with a view to getting people arrested and before the court. Every trace captured to build that case for detectives to determine who is behind this bold attack. It's definitely not out of hand, but organised crime is an absolute priority for us. I think it's important the community know the police are not resting on their laurels. Patricio lives here with his 80-year-old wife and their adult grandson. None of them are known to police, so why they've dodged gunfire not once, but twice is what the state's top cop is vowing to find out. We won't be going away, we won't rest until such time as we stop these shootings. The 75-year-old homeowner just yesterday saying... I don't know if my daughter's play today or come back here, we don't know. His family's now doing just that as authorities closely examine all the evidence to close this case. Woo! Woo! Go, go, go. Well, late this afternoon, we saw some police activity in the nearby suburb of Fairfield. Olivia Blunden joins me now at the desk with more on this story. Olivia, what more do we know? Yes, that's right, Sandra. Well, police just ended on Woodville Road this afternoon and we must stress at this stage, it is unclear if it is related to the drive-by shootings in Bosley Park. The property was surrounded by officers before the operation wrapped up around 3.30 with police confirming no arrests were made. Two other shootings in Fairfield and Wetherill Park, which occurred in the space of just a few hours on Wednesday night and yesterday morning, also remain under investigation with police still yet to make any arrests in those cases either, Sandra.
