We're expecting to see the most amount of travelers we've ever seen for Thanksgiving travel. That's Nick Chibaria from AAA. At some point, we're going to have to plateau, level off, and travel numbers will maybe come down a bit, but we just haven't seen that happen yet. Where are these new travelers coming from and how is it a record every year? It hasn't always been that way. Really since coming out of the pandemic, that's when we start to see the record numbers coming out. If your flight is delayed or traffic's terrible, that's something else we can blame the pandemic for. Now let's talk to one of those 82 million travelers. Are you from this area traveling away for Thanksgiving? Yes, we're from Kansas City and we're traveling to Cancun. I live here in Overland Park and I'm traveling to Denver. That's supposed to be the busiest ever actually this year. Is that something that you have any worries about or? Just a little bit with, like, security lines and stuff. Once we get there, we'll be good. If you're worried about driving, Chibaria has some tips for that, too. Maybe you leave earlier, even earlier in the week, to start your trip. If you're traveling more than 50 miles between Tuesday and next Monday, you're a part of that record year. And the easiest way to avoid a travel headache is to actually travel on the holiday.
