A 22-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with a stabbing outside the LaborWorks, the Westminster Police Department said.

Westminster police are investigating a stabbing that occurred outside the LaborWorks office near 72nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard. Authorities report that three individuals were waiting for the office to open when an argument broke out, resulting in a 42-year-old victim being hospitalized. The suspect, aged 22, fled the scene by car, leading police on a chase that ended near I-76 and I-70 in Arvada. Officers arrested the suspect and found a stolen firearm in the vehicle during the arrest.

New this morning, Westminster police are investigating a stabbing outside the labor works near 72nd Ave and Federal Blvd in Westminster. Investigators there say three people were waiting outside for the waiting outside the office rather waiting for it to open and then got into an argument police say a 42 year old victim was taken to the hospital. Investigators say the suspect drove away from the scene after this happened. Officers chased them and it ended near I-76 and I-70 in Arvada. Suspect was taken into custody and officers also found a stolen gun was inside the vehicle at the time of that arrest.
