There is a new generation of very young musicians who have emerged amid the crisis, and their careers are shaped by that crisis, which has led them to develop their work completely independently, using their own resources. They have managed to get their own space. The genre of the moment, reparto, is a fusion of reggaeton and traditional island sounds like timbre.
