Despite slippery conditions and physical exhaustion, Julian completed the climb, reaching the 3,000-foot summit with bleeding fingers. Her achievement has been recognized as a defining moment in her career and a significant milestone in women's extreme sports.

What made you want to do this? It just seemed so audacious and hard and intimidating using ropes only to save her from a fall. Julian planned to be on the wall for two weeks. Then the storm hit this storm crazy perched on a tiny ledge 2600 ft up. Julian rode out the storm for nine days. The winds were what scared me a lot and then there was like really intense thunder and lightning after the storm. Another challenge rocks are slippery when wet and I was just like man, I'm gonna have to climb like what's arguably the hardest climb of my career. What? After 23 days on the wall, her fingers bleeding. She made the final push. I came over the edge and like tears started to like kind of consume me.
