Mangione then hands over what officers say is a fake New Jersey driver's license with the name Mark Rosario. Well, she looks like someone... In court Thursday, Altoona police officer Stephen Fox testified about the moments following that interaction. Fox also helped search Mangione's backpack and said he was suspicious there was something in it that could, quote, harm human life. Mangione's defense attorneys claim the backpack was searched illegally and are pushing to have the evidence found inside, including a notebook, a 9mm handgun and a silencer excluded from trial. Officer Fox also told the court about transporting Mangione to his arraignment, claiming that Luigi Mangione turned back and acknowledged the large media presence, saying, quote, all these people here for a mass murder, wild.
