But yeah, it was just every lap just feeling comfortable and not taking too much out of the tire. George Russell completed the podium after his own tire struggles, admitting he probably got the maximum from his Mercedes. When Max came out the pits, I thought I had a chance. He had the cold tires, and I really, really pushed hard, and I just damaged the tires. With two races left, Norris leads the championship by 30 points over teammate Piastri, while Verstappen sits 42 points back.
