Max Verstappen won the Las Vegas Grand Prix after overtaking Lando Norris early in the race and maintaining a comfortable lead. Norris, who slowed on the final lap to conserve fuel, finished ahead of Oskar Piastri, extending his championship lead over the Australian to 30 points.

Despite Verstappen's win, his chances for the world title remain slim with only two races left and 58 points still available. The race saw several key overtakes and incidents, including Piastri's recovery from seventh position and Charles Leclerc passing him mid-race.

An aggressive move from Norris to protect that lead, but he's gone wide! And he hasn't protected it, because Verstappen has gone through! Verstappen leads here, from Norris, then comes George Russell, putting Nando Norris under pressure through turns three and four! Piastri locked horns with Liam Lawson at the start, but after dropping to seventh, he quickly went past the Kiwi. Oskar Piastri getting closer now to Liam Lawson, as Lawson locks up... The Marshalls forgot there was a race on. The Marshalls making their way still, double-waved yellows. The Piastri situation got more dire as Charles Leclerc cruised past. The Ferrari ahead of Oskar Piastri into the braking zone. Max Verstappen grabbed control of the race ahead of George Russell, but after slipping back to third, Norris found his pace. Oh, I'm trying to overtake him. Overtake him. We're going to go get Max. He moved past Russell and set off after the world champion in front. Then Verstappen found another gear and extended his lead to a comfortable six seconds plus. There was drama on the final lap, with Norris slowing down to preserve fuel, giving Verstappen an easy win. And once again, here in Sin City, what Verstappen's in Vegas stays in Vegas! Max Verstappen wins the Vegas Grand Prix! The Dutchman has closed the gap, but his world title hopes remain slim. Oh, it's simply lovely, that. Norris extended his lead over Piastri to 30 points after the Australian finished fourth. It'd be nice to get some good results on the board to finish the year, but, you know, the championship picture is what it is, so, yeah, we'll see what I can do.
