It's something our Prime Minister will be wary of when he attends that same summit next week. Anthony Albanese today made his first public appearance since his own successful one-on-one with Donald Trump, signing a multi-billion-dollar critical minerals deal with Washington. I understand the dialectical implications of decisions. For every action, there's a reaction. That advice is something the Prime Minister might have to take into consideration as he juggles both relationships, in particular the United States and the appeal of Australia's position in the Asia-Pacific using their own submarines. For them, it's a war-fighting location. It's a forward-operating location. So long as the US and China are not actually directly confronting each other, I think we can keep those two realities going.
