As more parents of victims inundate lawyers, including Arnold Thomason Becker, which has received more than a dozen calls and is considering a class action for families not directly impacted. They will have suffered losses as well because of the reluctance to take their children back to daycare. They may also be suffering trauma associating with putting their child in a position of risk. One lawyer claims parents of children who attended the centres embroiled in the ongoing abuse scandal have reported issues with their children, now age seven, consistently suffering urinary tract infections and behavioural issues for the past few years. It's absolutely clear that the system that's meant to protect our children in this environment isn't working properly. The sexual crime squad is continuing investigations, including reports it became aware of the alleged behaviour of Joshua Brown after the arrest of alleged child rapist, 36-year-old Michael Simon Wilson.
