I'll get our 10 News First cameraman to show you now exactly what I'm talking about. You can see that white crane there with the Meritan branding on the top. You may notice it's a little bit crooked. It's sort of sitting on a lean. It's certainly not as straight as the cranes around it. Now it sits at about 61 metres tall and this exclusion zone that we're in has just been pushed back even further because the main concern here is that if a crane of that size comes down, it could take out the other cranes around it. So that is a big concern for authorities tonight. They're not taking any chances. They've evacuated every apartment block and shop front sort of within, you know, any kind of close distance of this crane at the moment. The crane has four anchor points and we're told that two of those have snapped. And with the wind still as intense as it is here at the top of Pennant Hills Road, it's simply too dangerous for anyone to get any closer to it. Pennant Hills Road remains closed tonight to traffic. It is peak hour and that is causing some traffic issues for the commute home. But at this stage, Sandra, it's simply too dangerous to approach the crane and we'll have to wait until this wind dies down for the threat to pass.
