I see you are described as the future of boxing, do you like that? Yes and no. Which bits yes? Because I want to be the future of boxing, but at the same time it sounds kind of pretentious and vulgar. Are you feeling the pressure? A lot is being made of the history of Ukrainian boxing, the present of Ukrainian boxing and now you. Yes, there's always pressure, there's pressure everywhere. Since you're in Oleksandr Usyk's team, you basically have to follow him. It's a lot of pressure, people are waiting for results as if you're Oleksandr Usyk number two. What is the biggest lesson you have learned from him so far? Look into the face of your pain, look and laugh. How easy is that? Well, by the fifth training camp I can do it. Watching you train together, you obviously have a great relationship, but how would you describe your relationship with Usyk? A friend, a brother, a cousin, a mentor, a coach, an advisor. There is one word here, easy to translate, undisputed. It is everywhere. Is that the aim for you? Yes, yes. And what is the path? How many steps for you to get there? I'm halfway there, halfway to go. I can imagine it is tough to be on the upwards trajectory of your career with the situation at home in Ukraine. How do you deal with that? That's a normal question. It's hard. It's hard to train when you're in Ukraine itself. When I arrive in Kyiv, I weigh 82 kilos and leave weighing 73 because I don't sleep. I worry about my girlfriend, I worry about my loved ones, because every day there are rockets and drones and everything else flying around. They do this every day, five or four in the morning, so you can't sleep. They do this so that people can't sleep and they suffer. And how big an occasion, a day, will July 19th be for Ukraine, not only yourself, but Alexander as well? Victory day. What are you expecting, what are you looking forward to from the night? It will be one of the most important starts of my life. Boxing at Wembley in front of a full stadium, it's every boxer's dream. And the fact that I'll be boxing against an Englishman is only a plus for me, because the whole stadium will be rooting for him, supporting him like he's their own. And that will fire me up even more.
