Former President Trump is facing some criticism for what some are calling incendiary language on the campaign trail. The 45th president made those comments as he was campaigning on behalf of GOP Senate candidate Bernie Moreno outside of Columbus, Ohio. But some of the former president's allies are saying that his words were taken out of context. The president's statements concerning bloodbath were about what would happen in the auto industry if actually the Chinese manufacturers who were coming into Mexico were permitted to import into the United States. The Biden administration is responding, saying in part that the former president wants, quote, another January 6th, but that the American people will, quote, reject his extremism and affection for violence and thirst for revenge come election day. They also point to Trump losing an endorsement that most former presidents can count on. As I look at what Donald Trump is running on now, I simply cannot in good conscience endorse his candidacy this year. The former president faces four indictments. Some of those charges include conspiracy to obstruct justice, falsifying business records and election interference. Trump will also need to pay a $450 million fine for defrauding banks and insurers in New York state.

The bodies Australian brothers, Jake and Callum Robinson have been identified by authorities in Baja California, Mexico. It comes as their grieving parents arrive in the country.
