According to the White House physician, there is no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease. The physician also addressed recent bruising on Trump's right hand, attributing it to minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the president's use of aspirin. Trump's most recent physical exam found him to be in excellent health.

He's been diagnosed with a condition known as chronic venous insufficiency, mostly harmless and common condition in people older than 70 that's not life-threatening. The president is 79. A memo released by the White House physician says there's no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease, and that memo also addresses bruising on the president's right hand, first noticed back in February. It was evident again this week as he spoke to us here at the White House. Cameras captured how the bruising was covered up by makeup. You see it there. The White House says that's minor soft tissue irritation due to too much handshaking, and it's because the president takes aspirin.
