Scott, first, update us on what's happening with the investigation. Two different investigations, John. One local, one federal. Tyler Robinson reappears in court September 29th. That's his next court date. He's not entered a plea yet. He faces the murder charge and several other felonies. He faces the prospect of the death penalty. Court filings reviewed by CBS News shows he has made the application for a court-appointed lawyer. The local investigators say they have his gun, they have those shell casings with etchings in them, and they have those texts with his roommate. The feds are investigating too. An FBI spokesperson told me a few moments ago the investigation's ongoing. And John, there still is the prospect that the Justice Department adds federal charges to. Scott, now tell me about the services and those threats we mentioned. What are the preparations for the services and how do we put those threats into context? It's happening in a football stadium in Goodyear, Arizona that once hosted a Super Bowl. And it's got a Super Bowl-level type of security. It's being led by the U.S. Secret Service. It's designated by the Department of Homeland Security as a special security event, what they call an SEAR. So it's going to have federal officers, likely local officers, a security perimeter fitting of a president because, John, the president, the vice president, and the top members of the cabinet are all gonna be there, all gonna speak.

A Republican measure to keep the government funded until Nov. 21 stumbled in the Senate after clearing the House, leaving lawmakers without a clear path forward to avoid a funding lapse at the end of the month.
