I think we just got it, we just did get it recently. Sometimes stories change. It's on the back side of the counter in our reference area, yes, it's near games. This one is supposed to be about the Farmers' Almanac. It's also near romance and science fiction. Calling it quits after more than 200 years. One of my grandfathers worked as a farmer. We couldn't find it at the bookstore. No, I don't have one. This is the old Farmers' Almanac, which isn't going anywhere. This is one of those things where books just really work, and people like having to print a copy, and it's not the same to look it up online. You know, I think my generation might be that first generation that disregards the usefulness of the Almanac. Yes, I'd ask a Colorado farmer if they still use a book like this. I don't use it for remedies, recipes, or for the weather. Things change. Our technology, our world has changed, I mean, people are still the same in many ways. Turns out Derek Holland, at the Tattered Cover, has a way of talking about it with so much passion and joy. We're right by romance, we're right by science fiction, I mean, it could definitely happen. Hours can melt away, like when you find a good book. Of course, the old Farmers' Almanac isn't for everyone. This is something my dad would read, for sure. What does Almanac mean?
