Tesla has entered the restaurant industry with the opening of its first Diner and Drive-In in Hollywood. The new venue offers a futuristic take on the classic diner and drive-in movie theater, featuring technology such as humanoid robots serving food and Cybertruck-themed food containers. Customers can also purchase Tesla merchandise and charge their vehicles on-site. CEO Elon Musk has expressed intentions to expand the concept to other major cities globally.

CEO Elon Musk says it aims to be a futuristic retro diner and drive-in movie theater. The diner pairs technology with the classic diner experience. We're talking about a Tesla humanoid robot that actually serves food here. I'm a big Tesla and Elon fan and also a big Tesla investor and I'd heard about this upcoming opening. It seems like a very futuristic place and I heard the food's pretty good too so why not? I wanted to see the robots like Optimus. We think they're cool. Well customers can also buy Tesla merchandise, eat out of a Cybertruck themed food container and of course charge their Teslas in the parking lot. Musk says he hopes to open more locations in major cities around the world. Here at home though the Gilroy Garlic Festival returns for the first time in six years this Friday. The festival hasn't been held since that mass shooting back in 2019 when three people were killed and 19 were injured. The mayor of Gilroy has been passionate about bringing back the festival saying he doesn't want a negative event to take away from the festival that has drawn the community together for decades. It returns this Friday on a smaller scale at Gilroy Gardens but on a much smaller scale as we mentioned only 3,000 tickets were sold each day for the festival. Day off tickets are not available. In the past more than 100,000 visitors attended the Garlic Festival.
