In November, the Israelis carried out a major ground operation in Beit Jinn. The locals resisted, resulting in the deaths of six Israelis and 13 Syrian civilians, including women and children. We want peace and safety. We are asking for the powerful countries and the Israelis to not enter our territory because we are afraid about our youth and kids. In these current Paris talks, people here say they want an end to Israeli strikes and incursions in their village. The stakes for these talks are high.
