Following the raid, the ship ran out of fuel and was towed to the Canary Islands by Spain's maritime rescue service. The operation, named White Tides, involved law enforcement agencies from the US, UK, Brazil, France, and Portugal. The seized cocaine has an estimated street value of approximately 400 million euros.
