Seven people remain missing after an explosion occurred at a fireworks warehouse in northern California, which triggered a fire spreading to surrounding farm fields and prompted evacuations in the area. Law enforcement has established exclusion zones around the facility as a safety precaution due to the risk of additional fireworks igniting.

Officials have confirmed that two individuals were hospitalized following the explosion but have since been released. The search for the missing continues, with authorities describing the investigation as a lengthy process. No further details about the missing individuals have been released.

We're in a facility that we can get roughly a mile away. You can see law enforcement still out here. The reason for us being far away is due to the circumstances involving fireworks, which could pop off at any moment. Law enforcement is doing this as a safety precaution. An explosion happened just before six o'clock yesterday, sending shockwaves throughout neighborhoods and Esparto and surrounding areas. Fireworks were set off at around six o'clock last night, and as crews battled that fireworks in the facility were inadvertently set off. You could see and hear them throughout the night last night. And as I'm out here again today, law enforcement and first responders did hold a press conference. However not much new information was given. What we know is they are still keeping what they're calling exclusionary zones to make a perimeter around the facility to make sure that no one is injured. We also know that firefighters are still in under investigation. We're told this is going to be a lengthy process. Officials have confirmed there are seven people unaccounted for. They are not releasing any other information about who they are where they might be. At the presser. We were also told to other people were taken to a hospital after the initial explosion, but are now okay. We did speak to a loved one of the seven people who were unaccounted for. He was at the hospital for his first day of work there, and he was working alongside his two brothers when the scary situation unfolded. They were incredible people with the best hearts who were only trying. To work better for themselves in their future. They weren't bad people. They had incredible parts, incredible. Intentions with their lives. And they were very, very, very, very, very good people. Yeah, no, those seven people are unaccounted for their missing. Yet she's talking about them as if they were already gone in the past tense, so. That should give you a pretty good idea of where these families heads are at right now.
