Authorities in Atlanta have identified Patrick Joseph White as the suspect in a fatal shooting near the campuses of the CDC and Emory University. According to reports, White had expressed anti-vaccine views and stated that the COVID-19 vaccine made him ill. 

Investigators say White shot and killed a police officer and wounded several others before being found dead from gunshot wounds. It remains unclear whether White was killed by police or died by suicide, as investigators have not yet released further details.

According to reports, he expressed anti vaccine sentiments and said the COVID-19 vaccine made him ill. Investigators say White shot and killed a policeman and wounded several others yesterday. Police found him dead from gunshot wounds moments later. Investigators have not said whether police killed White or whether he took his own life.
