During the incident, White fired at several buildings and fatally shot DeKalb County Police Officer David Rose, a former Marine and recent police academy graduate. Officer Rose is survived by his wife, three children, and an unborn baby. Authorities later found White dead in a nearby building with multiple firearms. The investigation into the shooting continues.

And during that incident, he received gunfire and he lost his life in this incident. It's a noble profession that we all do. Authorities say White was found dead in a nearby building with multiple firearms. We are keeping an eye on several wildfires burning across the state, including the Dragon Bravo fire still burning near the Grand Canyon. It is now burned over 141,000 acres. It is 36% contained. Fire crews say the weather remains an issue, with winds over 50 MPH reported at times, and low humidity remains a problem. An evacuation order remains in place due to the Billy fire northeast of the valley. The Murphy Ranch area was put on go status this week after the containment of the fire was revised down. The Billy fire has burned over 8800 acres. It's now 27% contained. The U. S. Forest Service says a UTV accident complicated their firefight yesterday afternoon when the vehicle crashed with five firefighters inside, all of them transported to the hospital, but they have since been released men under arrest accused of being a part of a South American theft group. Scottsdale police arrested Luis Jimenez, Mojia and Daniel Ortega back on the sixth. Police say they were part of a South American theft group targeting elderly people while they were shopping. They would steal wallets and use the credit cards to make thousands of dollars in fraud purchases. One victim had over $10,000 in fraud purchases on a single card.
