Anger over the Prime Minister's response to the tragedy has been reflected in the latest polling, but support hasn't shifted to the Coalition. Instead, One Nation's popularity surged ahead of a major party for the first time. We can hopefully form government, and too right, I want to do it. There's overwhelmingly a change in the dynamics of the Australian polarity. While today's been set aside for condolences, negotiations have been playing out in the background over proposed new hate speech laws. Anthony Albanese and Susan Lee have met, trying to reach an agreement before tomorrow. We're obviously willing to work with the government in good faith. I wish we were going harder than we're able to go tomorrow, but we deal with the parliament, we have. One Nation's own laws for a buy-back scheme, stronger background checks and import restrictions will pass with Greens backing.
