Is this a hit it situation? It's whatever kind of adventure we want it to be. Star Trek Strange New Worlds continues the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. It's one in a thousand we get it done right or don't blow ourselves up along the way. Season three welcomes aboard a familiar character introduced in the season two finale and played for the first time by a Scotsman. Yeah but no it's great and the writers are so gracious with letting me within reason change the phrasing of some of my dialogue to suit how Scottish people actually speak. Jim they're calm so they can't coordinate attacks. The cast feel their roles are both fun and carry a level of responsibility. It's been really fun to see Una take on being in command when Pike is off doing whatever it is that he's doing to see potentially what kind of a Captain Una could be. When fans are watching this it is huge to them so at no point you know do I get on the bridge and I'm just kind of like oh this is all make-believe because as soon as I'm doing that I feel like we might as well all go home and so when I hear from from fans and I hear from pilots and I hear from combat veterans and they say that it feels like Ortegas is really flying the Enterprise like for me I'm like that's the point.
