Chris Van Cleve has the report. This is not how to give thanks, appreciate your fellow flyers, or gather to celebrate those we hold dear. In just hours, millions will start their annual trek to see family and friends for Thanksgiving. Everybody hates it when someone's moody at the airport because then it starts to spread. For flyers, the last few weeks have been anything but joyous. Let's bring civility and manners back. But today, the Secretary of Transportation is asking all of us to take a page from a more civil time in aviation and take a breath, give grace, and just be nice to each other. Are you saying thank you to your flight attendants and your pilots? Are you saying please and thank you in general? What's up? A lesson in gratitude, as Delta Captain Malik Senegal surprised his grandfather, Albert, who raised him, flying him for the first time as an airline pilot. On board the airplane is my grandfather. Without him, I would not be here at Delta Airlines. A heartfelt moment, one generation thanking another. It's one of the first times I've ever seen my grandfather. The emotion also, to me, that means it's just a full circle moment and I finally get to share something I love with him for the first time.
