The Atlas Lions surpassed Spain's previous record of 15 successive wins in October. Goals in the match included an own goal by Uganda's Herbert Achai, as well as strikes from Ismail Saibari, Soufiane Rahimi, and Bilal Elhanous.

The game against Uganda was part of its preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations finals, which it opens with a match against Camoros in Rabat on the 21st of December. Uganda scored an own goal through defender Herbert Achai in the fourth minute, with Ismail Saibari adding Morocco's second in the 33rd. Substitute Soufiane Rahimi converted a penalty in the 79th minute, while another substitute Bilal Elhanous made it 4-0 with two minutes remaining.
