We have been running helter-skelter because of insecurity. If other countries are coming with the hope of creating stability or peace in Nigeria, why shouldn't we be supporting, army support of that? As a matter of fact, it's a welcome development. Because if American mission in Nigeria is to take away the terrorists, it's a very good thing. Because nobody in Nigeria, even the president says any terrorists anywhere they are, they should be taken away. If America is helping Nigeria to do that, it's a welcome development. We in Nigeria should appreciate America for doing that for us. The strikes were reported in the northwestern state of Sokoto. In a statement on Friday morning, Nigeria's Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed the attacks and said they targeted elements based in the northwest of the country. The current issue in Nigeria is not a religious crisis. It is a problem of personnel kidnapping and bandits, other groups trying to destroy the country itself. So, I feel we, the government, the military we have can solve this issue. So, we don't need the help of the United States. Nigeria government is good and can handle this. The U.S. Africa Command said in a statement that an initial assessment of the strikes had revealed multiple casualties among ISIS terrorists. Nigeria has denied claims of a genocide against Christians.

Some of the stabbed victims remain in serious condition. A 38-year-old man was arrested for alleged attempted murder at the factory, authorities said.
