Milwaukee police are investigating a double homicide that occurred early Tuesday morning on the city's northwest side.

Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting incident near 41st and Glendale that resulted in the deaths of two individuals, a 50-year-old and another believed to be around 40 years old. The incident occurred in the early hours, and authorities have not yet made any arrests.

A local community organization, Bridge Builders, operates near the scene of the shooting. Representatives from the group expressed sadness over the loss of life. Police have not released information regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

This happened at around 2 30 this morning and according to investigators, a 50 year old victim and another victim who police believe is around 40 years old were both killed. So no arrests have been made at this time and our photojournalist on scene was able to speak with William who works with a community organization called Bridge Builders, which is a has a hub right where the shooting happened. It's just incredibly sad and tragic. Any loss of life is it's too much. So right now there's no word on what led up to this shooting. Anyone with information on this is asked to contact Milwaukee police.
