The victim was transported to hospital and underwent surgery, though his current condition is unknown. Police later recovered the stolen vehicle and continue to investigate the incident.

After investigating, they found the victim was shopping at Giant Eagle and was loading his groceries in the parking lot when someone came up and a struggle started. Police say right now it appears the suspect shot the victim, then took off in the victim's car. The victim was transported to the hospital and is in surgery. His condition is unknown. The car was recovered by police a short time later, and that investigation is continuing.
