A 41-year-old man has been arrested after going on a carjacking rampage that left one woman dead and a man injured. Police allege Bradley Donald Towle hijacked multiple cars and caused a series of collisions.

Bradley Donald Towle, a 41-year-old man, was taken into custody by police and faces several serious charges, including dangerous driving causing death, drug charges, and driving with a suspended licence. Towle was apprehended after allegedly being involved in a series of collisions. The final car he is accused of carjacking still had learner plates attached when he was found by police in Lansborough. Police reported that Towle complied with their orders and laid face down on the road during his arrest. 

Inside the vehicle, police discovered a shotgun. Towle is accused of causing a crash that resulted in the death of 22-year-old Jocelyn Grace. Following the crash, he allegedly shot another man, stole his vehicle, and subsequently crashed it before carjacking a vehicle driven by a learner. Towle is being transferred to the Maroochydore Courthouse ahead of his upcoming court appearance. Jocelyn Grace is being remembered by those who knew her as a smart, kind, and beautiful young woman.
