A man is behind bars following a deadly shooting at a hospital in Tacoma. One man was killed, and a woman was injured by gunfire.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting at MultiCare Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. Authorities report that the incident began with a dispute outside the hospital, after which the suspect followed two individuals into the emergency room and opened fire, resulting in one death and one injury. The injured woman has since been released from the hospital. The suspect was located and detained in Kittitas County with assistance from the FBI, US Marshals, and Spokane Police Department, and has been booked for first-degree murder.

In separate incidents, police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Bellevue, Washington, and a shooting in New York City's Times Square that left three people wounded and a teenager in custody. Additionally, a police officer and a suspect died following a confrontation in Atlanta, Georgia.

A man died, a woman who was also hit has since been released from the hospital. Tacoma police say the suspected shooter and the two victims got into a fight outside of hospital grounds. Then the suspect followed them inside the ER and pulled the trigger. Detectives tracked down the 25 year old in Kittitas County with help from the FBI, US Marshals and the Spokane Police Department. He was booked into jail for first-degree murder. An independent King County investigation is underway after an officer-involved shooting in Bellevue. Now this happened early yesterday morning at a home on Northup Way. This is not far from Interlake High School. Details are still limited but here's what we do know. Police say no officers were injured, no one else in the community was hurt, it's not clear who the officer was shooting at or why and we also don't know if the person they were focused in on was hurt. This is the kind of thing that's becoming a little bit more common and you know we go about our lives and try to pretend that you know that we're all doing okay but I have to say that last night it shook me up a little bit. A teenager was just arrested, three others were wounded during a shooting in New York City's Times Square overnight. NYPD said three people are in stable condition at the hospital. Police say a shooting happened around 10 20 last night. That 17 year old is in police custody. It's unclear if the shooter and the victims knew each other. A police officer and a suspected shooter are both dead after a confrontation in Atlanta happened in a CVS drugstore right near Emory University and the Center for Disease Control. Several rounds from the shooter hit the CDC building. Police say it's unclear if that was intentional. The officer was taken to the hospital where he later died. That shooter was found dead with gunshot wounds on the second floor of the CVS. Police say it's unclear if his death was self-inflicted.
