An affidavit says DeFore breached the property line at the driveway and attempted to break the driver's side window of a U.S. government unmarked police vehicle blocking the driveway entrance. When you're talking about a high-value target, we'll call him, like J.D. Vance, who's the vice president, you'll have a combination of physical security, which will be people on the ground. They will be complemented by visual security, which will be camera systems. And the camera systems will have a large portion of A.I. inside of them that will be able to understand the data that's within the video. Matt Saylor is the CEO of IC Real Time, and he works directly with intelligence-led protection teams. Saylor says the breach was likely more probable because the vice president wasn't home at the time, which suggests a smaller security detail was still able to catch a suspect quickly. We had a set routine for how we secure this individual, and then there's a breach. What would be the first thing or first things any good security person would look at to reassess how they do things given a breach? Generally, when the subject you're protecting is not at the facility, most likely they would not have had the amount of people that they would have had if he was in his property. I think that would be first and foremost, at least my observation, again, only commenting from what I read.
