We don't win independence until the treaty is signed and the British leave, which is not until 83. With so many battles in New Jersey, it's possible you could be watching this story from right where one of them was fought. There's a lot of history in your backyard. Go walk the battlefields. Go to Trenton. Go to Sandy Hook. Who knew that was a major part of this? Go to Patterson Great Falls where Washington was when just after Benedict Arnold's treason was uncovered. But even if you know everything about New Jersey, you know, what you should be maybe proud of is that a lot of other people are now going to know more about what happened in New Jersey during the revolution.
